Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka could be poised to join Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua in January.

Reports claim the Super League side are willing to pay Anelka, who is out of contract at Chelsea next summer, 10.6 million euros ( ufffd9.17m) a year.
