MS Dhoni congratulated the Indian team on their historic T20 World Cup triumph with a rare post on social media. The former Indian World Cup winner posted a picture of Team India lifting the T20 WC and added a special message for coach Gautam Gambhir and spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.
MS Dhoni mentioned that a smile looks great on the face of Gautam Gambhir, who is well known for his serious demeanour. He further mentioned that intensity with a smile is a killer combination and congratulated the current Indian head coach for the victory.
"Coach Sahab smile looks great on u,intensity with smile is a killer combo, very well done." MS Dhoni said in his Instagram post.
MS Dhoni also had a special message for Indian star Jasprit Bumrah. The former Indian skipper called the Indian spearhead a 'champion bowler'.
"Bumrah ke baare mein kuch na likhoon tou hi achaa hai. CHAMPION BOWLER." MS Dhoni added.

Former Indian World Cup-winning captains Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma were in attendance at the Narendra Modi Stadium to watch the T20 World Cup final. The three former skippers were spotted together in the ICC lounger watching the match with ICC Chairman Jay Shah.
Before the toss, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni walked out with the World T20 trophy. MS Dhoni guided India to its maiden T20 World Cup in its inaugural year in 2007. Rohit Sharma won the trophy in 2024, leading India to triumph in the Caribbean in 2024. Meanwhile, Kapil Dev was the first-ever Indian skipper to win the title for India, in England in 1983
