Star India all-rounder Deepti Sharma, 28, on Tuesday rose to the top of the ICC women's T20I bowling rankings for the first time in her career.

Deepti's haul of 1-20 in the opening T20I of their home series against Sri Lanka in Vizag was enough for the off-spinner to pip Australia pacer Annabel Sutherland by one point to sit on top with 737 points.
