India were blown away by all-rounder Dwayne Bravo who slammed 66 of 36 balls to follow-up his four-wicket burst earlier. Bravo came into the tournament with a reasonably good IPL where he represented Mumbai Indians. His IPL captain Sachin Tendulkar watched the encounter from the stands.

India won the toss and were restricted to 153, a total West Indies surpassed with eight balls to spare. Dhoni's Indians take on England tomorrow in a must-win tie to stay in the tournament. Yuvraj Singh celebrated his appointment as vice-captain with 67 off 43 balls although his entertaining effort went in vain.

Brief scores: India 153 for 7 in 20 overs (Y Singh 67, Y Pathan 31;
D Bravo 4-38) lost to West Indies 156 for 3 in 18.4 overs (D Bravo 66,
L Simmons 44; I Pathan 1-9)
