Former BCCI president Shashank Manohar has been included to resolve the impasse. "Manohar was in Mumbai for two things, one, to meet Enforcement Directorate and the other, the Sahara matter," a top BCCI source told MiD DAY yesterday.

It is learnt, that BCCI has sought crisis man Manohar's help, particularly because when Sahara Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala bought the two new franchises of the IPL, he was heading the Board.

"He is also adept with the rules of IPL and he only convinced both newcomers (Pune and Kochi) when they had reservations about the 'player retention' policy.

However, BCCI is awaiting Sahara's response after itsu00a0 Working Committee shot down their proposal in a meeting in Chennai on Monday. "We are giving it a last try as we don't want to antagonise anybody," the official said.
