Umar Khute led the way for Anjuman-I-Islam Allana English School (Fort) with a stellar century before Little Star English High School (Worli) responded with a determined batting effort as their Dream Sports Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school Giles Shield encounter ended in a draw at Cross Maidan on Tuesday. Anjuman were adjudged winners based on their first innings lead.

For Little Star, Akshat Joshi was the most effective bowler (4-98).

After being bowled out for 196 in the first innings, Little Star fought hard to secure a draw, ending the day at 147-7 (40 overs), as Akshat starred with the bat too (83 off 75). Aarav Yadav was Anjuman's best bowler (4-20).
