The S Padmanabhan-trained galloping goldmine spurted away to a glorious victory in the group 1, McDowell Signature Indian St Leger, the final Indian Classic of the 2011-12 racing campaign. Despite a slower initial pace, the Alnasr Alwasheek - Radiate filly bred at the Poonawalla stud farm clocked an excellent time of 2 minutes 57.73 seconds for the 2.8 km trip. In the hands of English jockey David Allan, she spared 7-1/2 lengths to Astapi & 22 lengths to Swift Memories, after Bling was declared a non-starter.u00a0
