The fifth T20I match between Team India and Australia at The Gabba in Brisbane has been halted due to lightning.
Having put to bat first, Team India has reached the score of 52 runs without losing any wickets in 4.5 overs.
Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill are unbeaten at the crease on the scores of 23 and 29 runs, respectively. Facing 13 balls, Abhishek has smashed a boundary and a maximum, while Shubman has smashed six boundaries in his knock of 16 balls so far.
Abhishek has reached the feat of completing 1000 runs in the shortest format of the game. He also became the second-fastest Team India batsman to accomplish the feat.
Australia's Ben Dwarshuis has conceded 27 runs in two overs, while Nathan Ellis has given away 12 runs in an over. The game was paused in Xavier Bartlett's second over. He has bowled 1.5 overs and has been smashed for 13 runs.
Heading into the clash, the "Men in Blue" have made one change. Tilak Varma sits out, and Rinku Singh comes in for the Brisbane contest.
Meanwhile, the Aussies have entered the game with the unchanged playing 11.
After winning the toss, Australian skipper Marsh said that his team looks at the clash as an opportunity to level the series.
"We'll bowl first. The surface looks good, and it's always great playing here - one of the best stadiums to play in. Not quite a World Cup final, but certainly a chance to level the series. Both teams have played quality cricket, and tonight's another opportunity for us to put on a strong performance," he said.
"The last game had a slightly inconsistent surface and we went away from our approach a bit. Credit to India, they bowled really well. But the conditions are different tonight, and we're excited to play our brand of cricket. No changes for us this time - thankfully, after having to make four last night," added the 34-year-old cricketer.
