In the third T20I match against Team India, England emerged victorious by 125 runs at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground in Nottingham.
In an attempt to chase the target of 202 runs, the visitors were bowled out for 76 runs in 11.4 overs.
Team India's opening batsman Abhishek Sharma was dismissed on 10 runs in seven balls, including a maximum. Fellow opening batsman Vaibhav Sooryavanshi departed on 13 runs in five balls, which included two maximums.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan scored 13 runs in nine balls, including a boundary and a maximum. Skipper Shreyas Iyer registered five runs in four balls. He also smashed a boundary before returning to the pavilion. Facing 10 balls, Axar Patel scored three runs. Tilak Varma managed to score three runs in 11 balls. Shivam Dube also returned to the pavilion on two runs in four balls.
Arshdeep Singh scored four runs in four balls. Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy registered nine and five runs, respectively. Facing 13 balls, Rana smashed a boundary, whereas Chakaravarthy faced seven balls and smashed a boundary.
Prince Yadav stayed unbeaten on two runs in two balls.
England's Josh Tongue returned with the figures of four wickets for 28 runs in four overs. Jofra Archer also bagged three wickets by conceding 29 runs in three overs. Adil Rashid and Will Jacks claimed two and one wicket, respectively.
Earlier, having been put to bat first, England's wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler smashed 36 runs in 21 balls, including four boundaries and two maximums. Skipper Harry Brook managed to score 16 runs in 12 balls, including a boundary.
Jacob Bethell departed after scoring 13 runs in nine balls, which included two boundaries. Opening batsman Phil Salt garnered 70 runs off just 44 deliveries, laced with seven boundaries and three maximums.
Later, Tom Banton was dismissed on a one-ball duck. Will Jacks lost his wicket on 14 runs in seven balls, including two maximums. Jofra Archer also managed to score five runs in two balls, including a boundary. Facing 24 balls, Sam Curran delivered an unbeaten knock of 41 runs, with the help of four boundaries. Along with him, Liam Dawson stayed unbeaten without facing any balls. With this, the "Three Lions" posted a total of 201 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Team India's Harshit Rana and Prince Yadav claimed two wickets each. Axar Patel also bagged one wicket. Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dube, and Varun Chakaravarthy went wicketless in the third T20I match against the "Three Lions".
