In the fourth T20I match against Team India, England secured a victory by nine wickets at the Bristol County Ground in the district of Ashley Down.
With this, the hosts have already clinched the series, with one game yet to be played. Currently, the "Three Lions" are leading the five-match series by 3-0. The fifth and final T20I match between the teams is scheduled to be played on July 11 at The Rose Bowl in West End.
With an aim of chasing the target of 159 runs, England scored 159 runs for the loss of one wicket in 13.5 overs.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler was dismissed on eight runs in eight balls, including a maximum. Fellow opening batsman Phil Salt accumulated an unbeaten 59 runs off just 42 balls, with the help of nine boundaries and a maximum. Facing 35 deliveries, captain Harry Brook also garnered an unbeaten 79 runs, laced with eight boundaries and four maximums.
Team India's Arshdeep Singh claimed one wicket. Prasidh Krishna, Prince Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, and Shivam Dube went wicketless in the fourth T20I match against England.
Earlier, having opted to bat first, Team India's Vaibhav Sooryavanshi departed on 15 runs in 10 balls, including a boundary and a maximum. Fellow opening batsman Abhishek Sharma was also dismissed on 16 runs in 14 balls, which included two boundaries.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan scored four runs in six balls. Shivam Dube also registered 22 runs in 23 balls, including two boundaries.
Skipper Shreyas Iyer delivered an unbeaten knock of 80 runs off just 49 deliveries, laced with four boundaries and five maximums. Tilak Varma and Washington Sundar registered 11 and five runs, respectively. Facing eight balls, Varma smashed a boundary, whereas Sundar faced eight balls. Axar Patel was dismissed on one run in two balls. With this, Team India posted a total of 158 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
England's Josh Tongue returned with the figures of two wickets for 36 runs in four overs. Jofra Archer, Will Jacks, and Adil Rashid bagged one wicket each. Sam Curran went wicketless in the fourth T20I match against the "Men in Blue".
