In the one-off women's Test match against England, Team India secured a dominating victory by a huge margin of 270 runs at the Lord's Cricket Ground in the City of Westminster.

Team India's Sneh Rana claimed four wickets by conceding 42 runs in 19.5 overs in England's second essay of the game.

In an attempt to chase a target of 457 runs, the hosts were bowled out for 186 runs.

England's wicketkeeper-batswoman Amy Jones was the highest run-scorer in the second innings. Facing 80 balls, she scored 54 runs, with the help of six boundaries. Sophie Ecclestone also smashed 50 runs in 66 balls, including six boundaries.

Mady Villiers registered 26 runs after facing 63 balls, including three boundaries. Alice Capsey departed on 21 runs in 35 balls, which also included two boundaries.

The opening duo of Maia Bouchier and Tamsin Beaumont registered two and zero runs, respectively. Bouchier faced eight balls, and Beaumont played only one ball. Heather Knight was dismissed on 13 runs. Her knock lasted for 34 balls, including a boundary. Skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt was dismissed on 11 runs. Facing 25 balls, she managed to register two boundaries.

Issy Wong and Lauren Bell lost their wickets on one and zero runs, respectively. Wong faced 33 deliveries, whereas Bell did not manage to score any runs in her 10-ball knock. Lauren Filer stayed unbeaten on four runs in 22 balls, including a boundary.

Apart from Rana's four-wicket haul, Team India's Sayali Satghare, Kranti Gaud, and Deepti Sharma bagged two wickets each. Shree Charani and Shafali Verma went wicketless in England's second innings.

Earlier in Team India's first innings, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side were bowled out for 285 runs. The visitors' star batswoman Smriti Mandhana accumulated 83 runs, including 11 boundaries and a maximum. Captain Kaur also smashed 58 runs with the help of seven boundaries. Deepti Sharma registered a score of 57 runs, including seven boundaries.

England's Sophie Ecclestone claimed three wickets. Lauren Filer, Issy Wong, and Mady Villiers registered two wickets each. Lauren Bell also chipped in with one wicket.

IND W vs ENG W Test: Second innings' summary

Later in hosts' first innings, wicketkeeper-batswoman Amy Jones played a knock of 52 runs laced with six boundaries. Skipper Sciver-Brunt also scored 44 runs, including four boundaries and a maximum.

Team India's Kranti Gaud returned with the figures of five wickets for 37 runs. Satghare and Rana also bagged two wickets. Deepti Sharma claimed one wicket, whereas Charani failed to claim any wickets.

In the third innings of the match, the visitors posted a gigantic total of 341 runs and declared after losing seven wickets. Mandhana registered 70 runs, with the help of nine boundaries and a maximum. Wicketkeeper-batswoman Yastika Bhatia registered a glorious ton in 158 balls. She garnered 113 runs, including 14 boundaries. Richa Ghosh also delivered an unbeaten knock of 50 runs, including eight boundaries.

England's Ecclestone bagged five wickets, and Bell managed to pick up two wickets.
