India declared their first innings on 566-8 in the post-tea session on the third day of the third and final Test against New Zealand on Monday.
Rahul Dravid top-scored with 191 and Mahendra Singh Dhoni made 98.
Daniel Vettori was the most successful bowler with 3-178.
India are ahead by 373 runs after New Zealand made 193 in their first session.
