Following the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, there have been talks surrounding the resumption of the IPL 2025.
Previously, amid the rising cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to suspend the ongoing IPL 2025 for one week.
Later, after endorsing a ceasefire, in case the Indian government gives a nod to resume the remainder of the IPL 2025, the BCCI had picked three venues, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. But considering these three venues, the official social media handle of 'Mumbai Rains' shared a tweet which read, "Not a good selection of cities to host the remaining IPL 2025 matches. It is going to rain daily in Bengaluru, Chennai & Hyderabad till the end of May. Rain will be very active in South India next 3 weeks". Taking to X:
