In the IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans (GT), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have reached the score of 109 runs for the loss of five wickets after the completion of 10 overs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

With an aim of chasing the target of 230 runs, Chennai's wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson was dismissed on a one-ball duck. Fellow opening batsman Matt Short departed on 24 runs in 14 balls, which included three boundaries and a maximum.

Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad returned to the pavilion on 16 runs in seven balls, with the help of a boundary and two maximums. Urvil Patel registered a two-ball duck. Impact Player, Kartik Sharma, lost his wicket after scoring 19 runs in 15 balls, which also included three boundaries.

Shivam Dube and Dewald Brevis are unbeaten at the crease.

Gujarat's Mohammed Siraj has already registered three wickets to his name. Kagiso Rabada also bagged one wicket. Arshad Khan and Jason Holder will continue the hunt for their first wicket.

IPL 2026, Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans: First innings' summary

Earlier, having been put to bat first, Gujarat Titans' (GT) captain Shubman Gill played a knock of 64 runs off 37 deliveries, laced with seven boundaries and three maximums.

Fellow opening batsman Sai Sudharsan delivered a glorious knock of 84 runs in 53 balls. His knock included seven boundaries and four maximums.

Later, wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler garnered an unbeaten 57 runs in just 27 balls, with the help of five boundaries and four maximums. Rahul Tewatia was dismissed on a one-ball duck. Washington Sundar departed on seven runs in three balls, including a maximum. With this, the Titans posted a total of 229 runs for the loss of four wickets against the Super Kings.

Chennai's Spencer Johnson managed to pick up one wicket by conceding 47 runs in four overs. Anshul Kamboj returned with the figures of one wicket for 56 runs in four overs. Mukesh Choudhary also chipped in with one wicket by giving away 36 runs in his spell of four overs. Gurjapneet Singh, Noor Ahmad, and Shivam Dube went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against GT.
