In the IPL 2026 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Punjab Kings (PBKS) secured a victory by seven wickets at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground in Lucknow.

With an aim of chasing the target of 197 runs, PBKS scored 200 runs for the loss of three wickets in 18 overs.

Opening batsman Priyansh Arya was dismissed on a one-ball duck. Cooper Connolly departed after scoring 18 runs in 10 balls, including four boundaries.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Prabhsimran Singh registered 69 runs in 39 balls, including seven boundaries and two maximums. Skipper Shreyas Iyer and Suryansh Shedge stayed unbeaten.

Facing 51 deliveries, Shreyas garnered 101 runs, laced with 11 boundaries and five maximums. On the other hand, Shedge scored nine runs in seven balls, including a boundary.

Lucknow's Mohammed Shami returned with the figures of two wickets for 45 runs in four overs. Arjun Tendulkar also bagged one wicket. Prince Yadav, Mohsin Khan, and Impact Player Digvesh Rathi went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against Punjab.

Earlier, having been put to bat first, LSG's opening batsman Arshin Kulkarni was dismissed on a one-ball duck. Fellow opening batsman Josh Inglis played a stunning knock of 72 runs, which came in 44 balls. His knock also included nine boundaries and two maximums.

Nicholas Pooran departed on two runs in seven balls. Ayush Badoni delivered a knock of 43 runs off 18 balls, including five boundaries and three maximums.

Later, captain Rishabh Pant returned to the pavilion after scoring 26 runs in 22 balls, which included three boundaries. Mukul Choudhary also lost his wicket on one ball in three balls. Abdul Samad and Arjun Tendulkar stayed unbeaten. Facing 20 balls, Samad scored 37 runs, with the help of three boundaries and the same number of maximums, whereas Tendulkar scored five runs in five balls. With this, the Kings posted a total of 196 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs against Lucknow.

Punjab's Yuzvendra Chahal returned with the figures of two wickets for 25 runs in four overs. Azmatullah Omarzai, Marco Jansen, and Shashank Singh claimed one wicket each. Arshdeep Singh and Vijaykumar Vyshak went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against the Super Giants.
