Irfan Pathan has been brought into the national team for the final two ODIs against West Indies in Indore and Chennai in place of Umesh Yadav.

Pathan's last ODI match was against Sri Lanka in February 2009 in which he claimed a wicket in his nine overs that cost 55 runs. Sri Lanka won the match by 65 runs and iffy form since kept Pathan out of contention for the national side, till yesterday.

Virender Sehwag who will continue to lead the hosts against West Indies in the absence of captain MS Dhoni.
Tendulkar to leave for Aus early Yadav will leave for Australia on December 8 with Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha and Wriddhiman Saha.
