Aiming to keep himself fit for the rigours of a busy season ahead, Australian pacer Mitchell Johnson has decided to give the lucrative Indian Premier League a miss for the second year in a row. Johnson said playing the league, scheduled in April, was not his priority.

"We decided not to go last year because he wanted to get fit and build his strength and consolidate his place in the Australian team," Johnson's manager Sam Halvorsen was quoted as saying in 'The Australian'.
