The hosts were scenting victory when they went to tea on 265-3 but their hopes were dashed in the final session as they lost their last seven wickets for just 66 runs.

New Zealand paceman Doug Bracewell and veteran spinner Daniel Vettoriu00a0-- who took his 20th five-wicket haul in the first inningsu00a0-- shared eight wickets, with the former taking five for 85.
