It is said that actor Rajnikanth's fan following in South India is even bigger than that of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in the rest of the country. It was surprising to see the Kollywood legend make a quiet entry into the Wankhede Stadium for the World Cup final on Saturday. There was none of the hoopla that generally surrounds him wherever he goes. He was seated next to actor Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao in the MCA Pavilion. Indian billionaire and owner of Indian Premier League team Mumbai Indians Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani were also spotted with them.
RR Patil in formHOME Minister RR Patil took the effort to check security arrangements. Patil ventured into the stands to monitor the things in spite of one of his colleagues reminding him that his seating arrangement was made in the VIP enclosure.
He took the elevator to the Garware Pavilion to check out security arrangements. It increased his popularity.
