Parsee Gymkhana emerge MCA President’s Cup champs

Parsee Gymkhana emerged as the champions of the MCA President's Cup (A & B Division) defeating Parkophene Cricketers by seven wickets in the summit clash at the MCA-BKC ground recently.

Batting first, Parkophene Cricketers posted a decent 167-6 off their allotted 20 overs, thanks mainly to Aayush Jethwa, who scored an unbeaten 52 off just 38 balls, including three fours and three sixes. Sagar Chabbaria was the pick of the Parsee Gymkhana bowlers with 2-27 off his four overs.

In reply, Parsee Gymkhana chased down the total rather comfortably, in just 15.2 overs and with seven wickets in hand, thanks mainly to Jay Jain's 58 not out (3x4s, 5x6s) and Vedant Murkar's 32-ball 49 (2x4s, 4x6s).

This was the second title of the season for Parsee Gymkhana, who previously clinched the Purshottam Shield and finished runners-up in the Talim Shield.
