Disciplined bowling and slow pitch helped Shane Warne's Rajasthan Royals claim their first victory in the Indian Premier League on Saturday.

Requiring 169 to win, Knight Riders were restricted to 153. The Kolkata side never looked in the game right from the start of the match. Even with plenty of wickets in hand, the batsmen were finding it hard to score even on lose balls.

Batting first Rajasthan piled up 168 runs, thanks to some serene batting from Abhishek Jhunjhunwala.

Ahmedabad's Motera Stadium came off as a true home ground for the Rajasthan Royals.

It all started with Faiz Fazal who scored 31 off 23 balls. The Kolkata bowlers looked clueless about the track.

While Royals moved one place up on the table, Knight Riders are at the fifth position.
