After a rain-soaked opening day, the $4 million DP World India Championship enjoyed bright and sunny conditions on Day Two, as the world's best golfers battled for leaderboard positions while the home golfers struggled to make their mark.

Amid the action at the verdant Delhi Golf Club, cricket legend and DP World global ambassador Sachin Tendulkar arrived to soak in the atmosphere and also interacted with golfing great Sir Nick Faldo and former England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen.

Faldo, a six-time Major champion, who won three Open Championships (1987, 1990 and 1992) and three Masters titles (1989, 1990 and 1996), came away impressed by Tendulkar's golf skills. "He [Tendulkar] is good. He's got a good touch. It [interaction with Tendulkar] was great. I showed him a couple of putting tips, and he could execute them straight away because he could get his body in the right positions. That was a very cool experience for me," Faldo told mid-day after appearing on The Locker Room Delivered by DP World, the championship's official studio show.

Interestingly, Faldo, Tendulkar and KP also enjoyed a fun round of cricket. "I bowled to him [Sachin], he hit it, and I caught him first ball. You should have seen Kevin Pietersen's face! He was like, ‘What? What's the problem?' and I was like ‘I just caught him first ball'," Faldo said with a laugh.
