Sachin Tendulkar's adopted village Donja gets a new library

Cricket legend and Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar visited his adopted village, Donja, in Osmanabad district of Marathwada, Maharashtra recently. Tendulkar, a Rajya Sabha member, who adopted the village under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), has committed Rs4 crore from his MP Local Area Development scheme fund for infrastructure development in the village.

Yesterday, he posted this picture (left) on Instagram and wrote, "They say, 'A good life is inspired by love and guided by knowledge.' Happy to know about the opening of a library in Donja."
