Selection dilemmas loom large as India prepares to unveil its squad for the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup in England at the BCCI HQ in Mumbai on Saturday. The recent T20I series in South Africa, which India lost 1-4, saw the team management rotate players heavily. While a majority of the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian squad will pick itself, issues in the bowling department remain a cause for concern, which the selection panel needs to address. The committee will also select the squads for the three-match T20I series and the one-off Test vs England, and the India A squad for three one-day games and three T20s vs England A.
