Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur made his one-day International cricket debut during the fourth ODI between India and Sri Lanka.

While, Shardul became the 218th cricketer to represent India in an ODI, he attracted the attention of Twitter users for a whole different purpose.

Shardul Thakur was seen sporting the number 10 jersey, which was earlier worn by none other than cricket great Sachin Tendulkar.

Twitterati took no time in slamming the Indian pacer and asked BCCI to retire the number 10 jersey as well. Here are some of the tweets that poured in.
