Former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan criticised the circulation of a false statement attributed to him, which claims he said that his ex-wife Ayesh Mukherjee had told him that no one would marry him after she left; the couple divorced in 2023. Hitting back at the fake story, Dhawan said, "I strongly urge people not to trade on my name with insensitive, and false statements on social media."
