Given how the tournament has panned out, Zimbabwe will be justified in fancying their chances of winning the Cup when they take on Sri Lanka.

If the giant-killers can cause one more upsetu00a0 it will be their first triumph in a multi-nation tournament involving Test-playing nations.

Opening batsman Brendan Taylor, who starred in the home team's eight-wicket win over Lanka on Monday, admitted the contest will be stiffer in the final.

"I try to tell myself to stay relaxed as much as possible; you have a job to do and go out there and do it. They (Sri Lanka) have rested some players in the last game and so definitely the contest will be stiffer in the final," said Taylor, who scored an undefeated 119 in the last game.

The Lankan pace attack will be bolstered by the return of Nuwan Kulasekara who missed the dead rubber. Ajantha Mendis, who has a terrific record against Zimbabwe, with 20 wickets from seven games, will also return.
