Matthew Hayden hits 93 off 43 balls to power Chennai Super Kings to a five-wicket victory over Delhi Daredevils at the Ferozeshah Kotla here Friday.
Opting to bat first, Delhi Daredevils, under their new captain Dinesh Karthik, made 185 for six in their alloted 20 overs. Virender Sehwag hit a blazing 38-ball 74 at the top of the order while Mithun Manhas remained unbeaten on 32.
Stand-in skipper Suresh Raina and Hayden raised au00a078-run third wicket partnership to guide the Super Kings home in 19.1 overs. Raina remained unbeaten on 49.
