Chennai Super Kings took a lap of honour to thank fans at Chepauk after their last home league game of the season. Sunil Gavaskar, taking this opportunity, went to MS Dhoni and asked for his autograph. The CSK captain signed Gavaskar's shirt, giving the fans a heartfelt moment. Playing his last league match of the season against Gujarat Titans, RCB batter Virat Kohli remained unbeaten at 101* off 61 balls. He surpassed Chris Gayle to set the record of most centuries by a player in IPL history. Kohli now has seven IPL centuries to his credit. Although RCB lost the match and got eliminated from playoffs contention, the fans were overjoyed by his achievement. He scored two consecutive centuries (vs. SRH on 18th May and vs. GT on 21st May).

GT's Shubman Gill also gave a memorable performance and scored a century against RCB.  (Pic: AFP)

Gujarat Titans' Rashid Khan became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in IPL 2023. In a match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the stand-in skipper dismissed Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur on consecutive bowls, thus turning the match in GT's favour. (Pic: PTI)

In the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and defending champions Gujarat Titans, KKR's Rinku Singh achieved an unbelievable feat by smashing five consecutive sixes in the last over, which was bowled by Yash Dayal. With 29 runs needed off 5 balls, Rinku delivered a win for KKR when it was least expected. Arguably one of the best moments of IPL 2023, it will remain in the hearts of cricket fans forever.
