In the Asia Cup 2025 match against Hong Kong, Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka played a knock of 68 runs off just 44 deliveries. His knock was laced with six boundaries and two maximums (Pic: AFP)

With this, he achieved the feat of becoming the player with the most fifty-plus scores for Sri Lanka in the T20Is (Pic: AFP)

He also surpassed Kusal Mendis and Kusal Perera, who have 16 fifty-plus scores each to their names on the list (Pic: X/@ICC)

Currently, Nissanka enjoys the top spot on the list with 17 fifty-plus scores for Sri Lanka in the shortest format of the game (Pic: AFP)

The right-hander is also the leading run-scorer for his side in the format's history. So far, having played 70 matches for Sri Lanka, he has scored 2068 runs (Pic: AFP)
