AUS vs ENG 1st Test 2019

In the first Test against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham, Steve Smith showcased his immense batting prowess in challenging conditions. Batting first, Australia posted 284 runs, with Smith single-handedly producing a brilliant 144 off 219 balls, including 16 fours and two sixes. IND vs AUS 1st Test 2017

Another of Smith's iconic Test knocks came during the first Test against India in 2017.  Batting first, Australia posted 260 runs. The Sydney-born cricketer, who was leading the Australian team back then, was dismissed on 27. His knock came in 95 balls, which included two boundaries. However, in Australia's second innings, Smith responded with a crucial 109 off 202 deliveries, including 11 boundaries (Pic: X/@stevesmith49)

IND vs AUS 2015 World Cup Semi-Final

In the 2015 ODI World Cup semi-final, Smith showcased resilience by smashing a crucial century against India. After opener David Warner departed for 12, Smith anchored the innings with 105 off 93 balls, striking 11 fours and two sixes (Pic: AFP)

AUS vs NZ 1st ODI, 2016

In the first ODI match against New Zealand in 2016, the former Australian captain led from the front by smashing a helpful ton. The Aussies had lost the early wicket of their opening batsman, Aaron Finch. Coming in to bat at the number three position, Smith faced 157 balls and smashed 164 runs. AUS vs ENG T20I 2015

During a T20I match against Australia in 2015, the Englishmen posted a total of 182 runs for the loss of five wickets. Their skipper, Eoin Morgan, had played a knock of 74 runs. Later during the run chase, despite losing the quick wickets of their opening duo, Australia's captain Smith played a glorious knock of 90 runs. His knock came in 53 balls, with the help of seven boundaries and four maximums. However, despite his terrific effort, the Aussies fell short by just five runs of securing the win (Pic: AFP)
