In the third Test match of the ongoing Ashes series against England, Australia's star spinner Nathan Lyon is shy of just two wickets to become the side's second-highest wicket-taker in the format's history
So far, he has scalped 562 wickets in 141 Test matches for the Aussies
Above him are legendary spinner Shane Warner with 708 wickets and former pacer Glenn McGrath with 563 scalps
The Australians are yet to bowl in the third Test match. They concluded Day 1 with a score of 326 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 83 overs. Mitchell Starc and Lyon will resume Day 2 at the scores of 33 and zero runs, respectively
