Same as Virat Kohli, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma returned to the T20I side after 14 months. In the first T20I match, he lost his wicket due to a miscommunication with Shubman Gill while running between the wickets. The star Indian opening batsman is yet to open an account in T20Is after returning to the format after a long break. After securing a win against the "Afghans" in the first match, Rohit Sharma also became the first-ever male cricketer to win 100 T20I matches
Shivam Dube
The "Men in Blue" all-rounder Shivam Dube who has returned to the T20I side after a long time impressed everyone with his stunning performance in the first match. In the first innings, he dismissed Afghanistan captain Ibrahim Zadran for 25 runs. Later, in the second innings, the left-hander smashed 60 runs in just 40 deliveries.
