In the third ODI match against Team India, Australia's swashbuckling opening batsman, Travis Head, scored 29 runs off 25 deliveries. His knock was laced with six boundaries
With this, he overtook stalwart Steve Smith to become the fastest Australian batsman to complete 3000 ODI runs
Head achieved the feat in 76 innings during the third ODI match against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground
On the other hand, Smith took 79 innings to accomplish the milestone of completing 3000 runs for the Aussies in the 50-over format of the game
However, Head lost his wicket in Mohammed Siraj's over. Prasidh Krishna took the catch to show the left-hander, the path to the pavilion
