The first T20I match between Team India and England is scheduled to be played on July 1 at the Banks Homes Riverside in Chester-Le-Street (Pic: X/@BCCI)
Ahead of the match, Team India's wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson is falling short of 86 runs from completing his tally of 2000 runs in the shortest format of the game (Pic: X/@BCCI)
Currently, the right-handed batsman has garnered 1914 runs in 80 T20I appearances for the "Men in Blue". With a top score of 111 runs, Samson also has four tons and nine half-centuries in the format (Pic: X/@BCCI)
