The third T20I match between Team India and New Zealand is scheduled to be played on Sunday at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati

Ahead of the clash, New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner is set to accomplish a new feat in the format for the side

He is falling short of 85 runs to complete the tally of 1000 runs in the shortest format of the game

So far, Santner has garnered 915 runs in 124 T20I appearances for the "Black Caps". With a top score of an unbeaten 77 runs, he also has two half-centuries to his name

Currently, Santner-led Kiwis are trailing by 0-2 against the "Men in Blue". The visitors will be eager to register their first victory to keep the series alive
