In the first T20I match against Team India, New Zealand's star all-rounder Glenn Phillips played a knock of 78 runs off just 40 deliveries. His knock was laced with four boundaries and six maximums

With this, he became the fourth batsman to complete 2000 runs for New Zealand in the shortest format of the game

So far, he has played 84 T20Is for the "Black Caps", and has scored 2007 runs, with an average of 31.85 and a strike rate of over 142

The 29-year-old cricketer also has two tons and 11 half-centuries to his name in T20Is

New Zealand's top run-scorer in T20Is is former opening batsman Martin Guptill with 3,531 runs in 122 matches and 118 innings at an average of 31.81 and a strike rate of over 135, with two centuries and 20 fifties to his name
