During the first Test match against the West Indies, Team India's Jasprit Bumrah shone by claiming three wickets, conceding 42 runs in 14 overs in the opponent's first innings (Pic: File Pic)

With this, he completed his tally of 50 wickets in the longest format of the game in India. He took just 24 innings to achieve the feat on home soil (Pic: X/@ICC)

He also became the joint-fastest to achieve the feat with legendary former pacer Javagal Srinath (Pic: X/@ICC)

Bumrah accounted for the wickets of John Campbell, Justin Greaves, and Johann Layne of the Caribbean. The West Indies were bowled out for 162 runs in 44.1 overs (Pic: X/@ICC)
