In the third women's ODI match against Australia, Team India's Smriti Mandhana played a knock of 125 runs off just 63 deliveries. Her knock was laced with 17 boundaries and five maximums (Pic: BCCI)

With this, she surpassed Australia's Karen Rolton to become the player to register the second-fastest century in women's ODI (Pic: X/@ICC)

Earlier, Rolton achieved the celebrated three figures in 57 balls against South Africa in 2000-01. In the ODI against Australia, Mandhana reach the feat in just 50 balls, pushing Rolton to the third spot (Pic: BCCI)

India's batting wizard Virat Kohli was at the summit of the fastest ODI century for India, following his 52-ball effort against Australia in Jaipur in 2013. However, his reign ended after 12 years as Mandhana scored a century in a mere 50 balls, the fastest in men's and women's ODIs (Pic: BCCI)
