Fielders play a crucial part in determining the fate of the match be it any format of the game. Any catch dropped by a fielder in a tense situation can damage the chances of a win for the side. On the other hand, if a player is successful in taking a blinder, the team on the field gets a big boost and can dominate in the match. It also depends on what fielding position a particular player is standing in determining how many chances he will have to grab a catch. Generally in T20Is, the teams prefer to put their best fielders at those positions on the boundary line where he is most likely to take a catch.
