During the run chase, stalwart Virat Kohli yet again delivered a masterclass by scoring an unbeaten 75 runs. His match-winning knock came in 42 deliveries with nine boundaries and three maximums

The unbeaten knock also marked his fastest half-century in IPL history. He took 25 balls to complete 50 runs

Over the years, Kohli has been at the centre of criticism for his strike rate. Instead of spending time responding to his critics, the right-handed batsman has believed in working on his technique and adapting to the new requirements of the game

The players who used to compete with him in the league are now on the other side of the boundary rope, but the 37-year-old Kohli is still rubbing his shoulders with the new generation's stars. 

The Delhi-born cricketer has concluded the tournament as the fourth-highest run-scorer. Having played 16 matches, he accumulated 675 runs with an average of 56.25. His highest run tally in the league's history is 973 runs, which remains an untouched feat in the tournament
