In the IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) stalwart Virat Kohli smashed 50 runs off 38 balls, including five boundaries and a maximum

With this, he became the first batsman to score 1000 runs against the "Paltan"

So far in 36 innings against MI, Kohli has smashed 1030 runs with an average of 32.18 and a strike rate of 129.23. He also has a top score of an unbeaten 92 runs and seven half-centuries against the "Men in Blue and Gold"

In 23 matches and innings at Wankhede Stadium, the right-handed batsman has made 888 runs at an average of 55.5, with a strike rate of 148.49

Later, Bengaluru secured a win by 18 runs against MI at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai
