Ahead of the cash-rich league, Mumbai Indians' star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is just nine scalps from surpassing legendary slinger Lasith Malinga on the list of the most wickets by a bowler for the franchise
Currently, Bumrah is placed in the second spot on the list with 186 scalps for the Mumbai-based franchise. He has played 148 matches for Mumbai and has the best bowling figures of five wickets for 10 runs
On the other hand, Malinga is enjoying the top spot with 195 wickets to his name. Concluding his career with 139 matches for the "Paltan", the slinger has the best bowling figures of five wickets for 13 runs
The "Men in Blue and Gold" will begin their IPL 2026 campaign by playing a clash against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai
