With this, he surpassed Vijay Hazare and Vinod Kambli on the list of players with the highest first-class average for any Indian batsman with at least 2000 runs (Pic: Instagram/yashrathod_23)

Currently, Rathod has 2280 runs under his belt with an average of 60. He has the sixth-highest first-class average for any Indian batter with at least 2,000 runs (Pic: Instagram/yashrathod_23)

According to Wisden, Vijay Hazare and Vinod Kambli had an average of 58.38 and 59.67 (Pic: File Pic)
