Sai Sudharsan powers to 9th IPL fifty: Visual breakdown of his stats

Sudharsan brought up his fifty in the 10th over and continued to accelerate, sharing crucial partnerships of 80 runs with Jos Buttler and 62 with Shahrukh Khan, playing a pivotal role in GT’s innings. His composed approach mixed with aggressive shot-making kept the Royals on the back foot.

Sudharsan started cautiously, managing just 11 runs from his first 11 balls. However, he soon shifted gears, launching into the Rajasthan attack with fluent strokes. He targeted Fazalhaq Farooqi and Tushar Deshpande in particular, smashing a six each off both bowlers. In the fifth over, he tore into Deshpande with two crisp boundaries, laying the foundation for a strong innings

With this innings, Sudharsan soared past 1,300 runs in IPL, taking his tally to 1,307 runs from 30 matches at an average of 48.40. He boasts nine fifties and one century, with a healthy strike rate of 141.60. Against Rajasthan Royals, he now has 137 runs in 3 matches at 45.66, including one fifty.

Sudharsan continues to dominate at his home ground. In 15 IPL matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium, he has amassed 822 runs at a staggering average of 58.71, with a blistering strike rate of 156.27. This was his seventh fifty-plus score at the venue (6 fifties, 1 century).

With 273 runs from five matches this season at an average of 54.60 and strike rate of 151.66, Sudharsan has emerged as the second-highest run-scorer in IPL 2025 so far. He trails only LSG’s Nicholas Pooran, who has scored 288 runs at 72
