Sri Lanka's legendary batsman Kumar Sangakkara enjoys the top spot on the list of fastest players to complete 12,000 runs in the longest format of the game. He took just 224 innings to reach the feat
He comes in the second place on the list of most runs scored by a wicket-keeper in a Test innings. In a Test match against Pakistan in 2002, the former left-handed batsman scored 230 runs in 327 balls
Apart from his batting records, he was also surreal while donning the 'Big Gloves'. In ODIs, he has the most dismissals registered under his name. In his career of 404 ODI matches, Sangakkara had registered 482 dismissals
The former cricketer also enjoys the top spot on the list of players to have scored centuries in consecutive innings in ODIs. He has four consecutive ODI tons to his name
The 48-year-old former cricketer also sits at the top of the list of players to have the most runs in a calendar year in Tests-ODIs-T20Is. In the year 2013, the Matale-born former cricketer scored 2868 runs, with a top score of 319 runs
