Barcelona star Gerard Pique plans to shift to United States as partner and singer Shakira wants a calmer life, away from the limelight

Barcelona star Gerard Pique is planning to move to America in 2018, according to a report in Spanish weekly sports magazine, Don Balon.
The Barca defender is considering moving to the Major League Soccer (MLS) after the 2018 World Cup in order to please his partner and Colombian pop star Shakira.
It is learnt that Shakira wants a calmer life, away from Catalonia, where Pique is more often in the public eye due to his star status. The report added that the footballer is confused - to join LA Galaxy or New York City. Galaxy appeals to him after David Beckham took it by storm when he arrived from Real Madrid in 2007.
But New York City also tempts him as his Spain teammate David Villa is currently plying his trade in the Big Apple, reported express.co.uk. There were even rumours of him planning a shift to London this January. We can only wait and watch while Pique decides to choose between US and UK.
