Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has done what many men fear doing - declaring his affection in front of the world, via a flirty Twitter update.
The 29-year-old has been dating Colombian pop star Shakira since 2010, having met when he featured in her music video for the World Cup in South Africa.
Pique replied to a short clip of his significant other appearing in a new video (which shows Shakira being showered with a burst of water while lying on a sofa), which was captioned "Recipe for sexiness: Just add water."
The Spain defender cheekily replied: "Sexy with or without water!" as he openly teased her in front of his 13.5 million followers.

The couple have two sons Milan and Sasha, and Shakira regularly appears on Pique's timeline as well as at sporting events with him.
After winning two Grammys, she wrote on Twitter: "Thanks to my fans for these two Grammys, @carlosvives, Afo Verde, my team, my angels Sasha and Milan and the love of my life, @3gerardpique."
