The match would also see national football captain Sunil Chhetri to make his ISL debut, having missed the entire last season and the first two games of the current edition.

"This is the start of everything; we will be happy to introduce the three Indian national players - Chhetri, Subrata Paul and Lalachhuanmawia Fanai - who were not available for the first two games," said the team's assistant coach Oscar Bruzon ahead of his team's home opener of the season at the DY Patil Stadium.

"I think everything was gelling in the first two games, but we did not get the six points we wanted. Now is the time to start afresh in Mumbai. We have five games in a row here. We are completely excited to play here. We want to show tomorrow what this Mumbai City FC is capable of. Tomorrow we have to start winning, no excuse," added the Spaniard.
