Manchester United defender Chris Smalling's model fiancée Sam Cooke strongly defended her Instagram post where she criticised the public support after the devastating London terror attack. In her earlier post, she said: "I can't stand all this 'Pray for London', 'Pray for Paris' and 'Pray for Belgium' c'''."
What about the 30 civilians that were killed by an American air strike in Syria yesterday? Or do those lives not matter?
"My heart goes out to the families involved but people are killed all day everyday, stop choosing who you care for dependant on who the media tells you to care about. A life is a life!"
She was slammed by her followers and the media too misinterpreted her.
On Saturday, Cooke wrote: "All I had meant to say was that we need to always look at what's happening around the world as well because we're a global family and without having love and compassion for everyone we won't get out of this mess."
